Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explore the village with a wealth of natural and local wisdom in shades of green and halal tourism and religious tourism to attract tourists as a business creating an ecosystem of rural tourism in Indonesia. A qualitative approach was used in this study, data collection based on literature studies obtained from the internet using publish or perish for selected articles and obtaining originality using vosviewer to map bibliometrics The finding is the village has a potential place to be developed into a tourist area, apart from religious communities, there is local wisdom, natural tourism potential that is not widely known by the community and can make the village self-reliant in the long term. This article restricts the study from non-financial aspects consisting of the use of local communities, preservation of local cultural values, Zero waste so that it becomes a marketing attraction that shows  feasibility, Practical implications offers the concept of rural tourism by applying both green and halal tourism that nourish the body and soul. This study provides results where rural tourism which is arranged in its original condition in greenery inserted with environmental and procedural halal conditions can become a current trend in the long term. This article is still early so it opens up opportunities for further research of the same type.
