Understanding the Consciousness of the State Civil Apparatus in Paying Zakat Profession

Abstract

As a preliminary study, the results of observations conducted via zoom meeting on Wednesday, 16 December 2020 with BAZNAS Kota Cirebon showed that only 13.8% of the ASN number ASN 4.460 muslims in the City of Cirebon has been doing zakat profession through the institution of zakat BAZNAS. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of awareness of the employees include the knowledge, attitudes, practices, and regulations in the decision to pay zakat profession by using the method of withholding. The method used in this research is quantitative method with survey approach. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that in the t-test is already done by researchers from the value of t-count of consciousness is 2,827 while the value of t-table is 1,969 greater than -t. This means that there is significant influence between the variables of consciousness ASN (X) against the decision variable pay zakat in BANZAS the City of Cirebon (Y) or in other words, H1 is accepted. While the results of the F test is 62.121 while its significance is 0.000. The significance of the ANOVA of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, thus Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the variable Influence of Awareness of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) affect the Decision to Pay Zakat Profession In BAZNAS Kota Cirebon.
