Abstract

This journal discusses the implementation of group counselling on self-adjustment on the students of class VII in SMP NEGERI 1 GEGESIK the academic year 2020/2021, which was triggered by the students’ adjustment herself in the classroom so that students could not be the adaptation in the school. This study aims to determine whether the implementation of guidance Services the group may increase the self-adjustment on the students of class VII in SMP Negeri 1 Gegesik the academic year 2020/2021. This research is a study qualitative type. It is descriptive in accordance with the rules of the non - statistical. This study rely on the accuracy of data collection to obtain the results of the study valid. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, review of literature, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, the results showed that the implementation of the service group counselling to improve self-adjustment of students in SMP Negeri 1 Gegesik there are 3 stages, namely, the preparation phase, the activities and evaluation stage. The implementation of guidance services the group held three times a week. The implementation of the guidance and the group consists of seven members of the students of class VII that the adjustment itself is low. The techniques used in the implementation of guidance services the group that is engineering the provision of information, the technique of group discussion and problem-solving techniques. The implementation of the guidance service group by using the stages and the above techniques can improve the self-adjustment of the students.
