Portraying situated English Learning at A Madrasah: When Learning Calls for English Exposure

Abstract

This research aims to describe the demonstration method in improving speech delay student communication, and the obstacles to the demonstration method in improving speech delay student communication in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) learning. The approach used in this research is qualitative. The research was carried out in one cycle consisting of one meeting. Research was carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The learning methods used are demonstrations, questions and answers, and assignments. The learning results in cycle 1 of meeting 1 were quite good, there was an increase in student test results after carrying out Civics learning using image media. The results of the pre-test obtained the highest score of 80 and the lowest score of 0 with an average of 40. The number of students who completed was 3 students with a percentage of 30%. The results of the post test obtained the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 60. The average score was 85.6. The number of students who have completed is 20 students with a percentage of 80% and students who have not completed are 5 students with a percentage of 20%.
