Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies has led to the emergence of innovative approaches in the education system. In particular, prompt engineering — the process of designing effective instructions for artificial intelligence systems — has become an important pedagogical tool in enhancing English language learning. This thesis analyzes the pedagogical potential, effectiveness, and practical applications of prompt engineering in English language education based on scientific literature. The findings demonstrate that AI-powered platforms support independent learning, provide immediate feedback, and improve overall learning efficiency. Furthermore, prompt engineering contributes to the development of learners’ critical thinking, analytical abilities, and digital literacy skills.
