This article discusses the issues of language and education, the historical roots of bilingualism in Uzbekistan, the growing need to acquire Western and Eastern languages in today’s multilingual environment in the republic, continuous and field-specific foreign language teaching, the application and teaching of the Uzbek language, existing problems, and reflections on their elimination.
